• Looked at some websites for current events. Do you remember what they were?
• Reviewd the words we discussed yesterday. Can you remember what they were?
• Went outside and identified organisims on our list & answered our questions.
• Homework: Describe two species/organisims not on our handout.

Today in SCIENCE we:

• Talked about ecosystems, interactions, organisims, diversity.
• Went outside to observe our school yard ecosystem.
• Helped Mrs. Hill & our school by cleaning up our school yard. It shows pride in our school & community.
• We will continue our activity tomorrow.
• Have you completed your vocabulary? You should work on it at the begining of class.
• Please Remember Rule #1 - when your teacher is talking, you are not.

• Did some work on SAFETY. Watched a safety video, did a worksheet.
• Got our textbooks. PUT YOUR NAME ON THEM WITH TAPE!!!! You are responsible for them.

• Handed in our Safety Posters. Nice work!
• Did an activity. What did you learn?
• Started our vocabulary duotangs: You have 5 terms to complete.
• Talked about safety, variables, hypotheses.

Today in SCIENCE we:

• Talked about current events. What examples did we use?
• Reviewed our lab safety rules.
• Went over the lab safety poster in the classroom.
• Started work on a lab safety title page. Remember to include: pictures, information with correct spelling & grammar, colour, a border, your name, class, & the date. Due MONDAY.
• Orange forms & 50 cents are now due.

• Made name tags.
• Got our journals & made our first journal entry: What do you already know or think about each of the units we will be studying in Science this year?
